During this fundraiser event for ACWI, host Leigh Older will introduce us to fine wines from around the world, both reds and whites.
Leigh is a wine consultant and one of the founders of an award-winning podcast about wine, Grape Radio. You can listen to the program at http://www.graperadio.com/
A small admission fee of just $35.00 per person gives you an opportunity to
- learn about a variety of different wines - both reds and whites: learn about their subtle differences
(like earthy undertones, smokiness, and a fruity aftertaste)
- find out if those pesky "rules" of pairing whites with fish and reds with beef, etc. are important
- sample some outstanding food, carefully paired with the wines
